A Little Late, But That's Life...

Hello everyone. Sorry I have been gone for a few days but life got a little crazy. So when I last posted on here I mentioned that I would talk a little about how I got the idea for my company, The Best 2 Years 4 Ever Remembered.

So about 2 years ago while I was home for Christmas, I was talking with my family and the subject of missions came up. Both my brother and I had served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had very fond memories of our experiences. After taking a trip down memory lane, I asked my mother where all of my mission pictures, letters, and other stuff was at. She told me to check down in the basement, most likely underneath the stairs. I followed her instructions and after about a half an hour, I came across several boxes which I recognized almost immediately. I opened up the first and began to go through letters, spiritual thoughts, pictures and was overcome with a fresh set of emotions as I recalled things that at the time had been very important to me but I had forgotten over the years. As I re-discovered my mission for the first time, I was struck with the thought that these memories didn't belong taped up in a box in my parent's basement. They belonged to me and needed to be preserved in a way that I could look back on them anytime that I wanted and share them with anyone I chose to. And that's when it hit me. I needed to take these letters, pictures, and other documents and put them into some kind of book. So I set out to do just that.

I began to research and study what it would take to create a book or more importantly a yearbook for myself. And then, my thinking to a step forward and I thought that perhaps this might be something that would appeal to others. And with that, my company was created. I have spent the majority of my time since then working with the idea and figuring out the best way to bring to market what I thought up 2 years ago.

So here I am, beginning an exciting journey of launching my first company. I am so excited and so far the biggest obstacle I am facing is getting the word out to the masses. I have conducted a few focus groups on the company and showcased some examples of the company's work to a few people and the response has been phenomenal! Everyone loves what I am doing and momentum is slowly building. If you are reading this and haven't checked out the company website, please do take a look at it. The web address is www.b2y4er.com. I am very proud of what is happening here and look forward to an increase in the company's growth.

But above all that, the thing that I desire most is to provide a means whereby the countless thousands who have served missions over the years and are serving now will have a way to preserve their missions for future generations. See, a missionary yearbook is a great way to preserve one's mission for themselves, their families, their spouses, their children, and one day their grandchildren. A mission is a great experience and deserves to live on throughout the years and even beyond our own mortal life. I am pleased that my company provides a means where by this can be achieved.

Well, I think that is about it for today's entry. I hope that anyone who is reading this has seen a brief glimpse of how the company came into being and what really is driving me to succeed with this company. If you have any questions for me with regards to the company, please use the links found on the website to get in touch with me. Have a great day!
